Providing Education To Looked After Children

Looked after children (also known as children in care) can be one of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged groups of children. Many are from troubled backgrounds, some have suffered trauma, and many have experienced family breakdown, crime and upheaval. 

The government and local authorities pay particular attention to this group of children to ensure they get the same chances, opportunities and education in life as other children.
