Form C8

Apply to keep your contact details confidential from other
parties in family court proceedings

WHAT IS FORM C8 USED FOR?

Form C8 is used to ask the court to keep your contact details confidential from your ex-partner in family court proceedings. You can also request for the children’s contact details to be kept confidential as well.

Form C8 is a supplementary form you send to the court alongside many other forms such as form C100. So we can explain to you how form C8 is used we will use the example of form C100 in this explanation (the form used to start court proceedings for child arrangements). If you are submitting form C100 to the court, once they receive and process it they will send a court stamped copy to your ex-partner. If you want your contact details to be kept confidential from your ex-partner then you leave the contact details section blank on your form C100. Instead you must write your contact details on form C8 which the court will keep.
